The short version

Your debt numbers never leave your browser. We collect no personal information. We use no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, and no fingerprinting. We count anonymous page visits. That's it.

What we collect

Nothing identifiable. DebtFreeDate uses Plausible Analytics — a cookieless, privacy-first analytics tool that records only:

  • Anonymous page view counts
  • Country-level location (not city or address)
  • Browser type and device category (not your specific device)
  • Referring site (where you came from)

What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email, IP address, debt amounts, financial information, or any personally identifiable information. Your browser's localStorage stores your debt entries locally on your device — we have no access to it and it is never transmitted anywhere.

Cookies

We use no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies, and no third-party cookies. Plausible Analytics uses no cookies at all. The only browser storage this site uses is localStorage to save your debt entries locally on your own device.

Payment processing

Payments are handled by Stripe. When you purchase the paid plan, you interact directly with Stripe's secure checkout. We receive only a confirmation that a payment succeeded — no card details are stored on or passed through this site. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment processing.

Third parties

We do not sell, share, or rent any data to any third party. There are no advertising networks, data brokers, or affiliate tracking systems on this site.

Data deletion

We hold no personal data to delete. If you want to clear your locally stored debt entries, clear your browser's localStorage for this site (Settings → Privacy → Clear site data in most browsers).
